    Wow! I’m up too early. Gotta wait for David for the text. I get the gist, however. Looks like death threats are the code for identification.
    Happy Father’s Day, Warbucks and all yall other Daddies!

    Morning, Anniephans!
    In Panel 5, Annie is referring to the Double as “Daddy.” Is she starting to believe that the Double is actually her “Daddy?”

    Here’s the link to Annie 2004 .

    For the current incarnation of Warbucks, check out today (Sunday)’s Dick Tracy strip! Could a crossover be possible in future? ;D

    Can someone tell me what year the Annie strip is currently running? The Dick Tracy Crossover has sparked an interest in this because I would like to read the last year of Annie.

    @Dennis Sisneros

    This story line originally ran in 2002. See panel 7 which gives the original publication date (9-15-02). See also the June 12, 2013 strip which is a reprint honoring the one year anniversary of the attack on the twin towers.

    Until “Annie” is ever restarted the crossover will only be one way.
    What else can Annie call him? Anything else would break the cover.

    There is no “last year” of Annie, there is no ending.

    Until more are made it was the last year. Or can you point to “Annie” continuing?
