A few years ago, I was coming out of the Piggly Wiggly after buying a sandwich for lunch, and an old guy shuffled up and asked me for 38 cents. He wanted a hotdog from someplace across the street and, supposedly, that was the cost.
He was so ticked off when I gave him 38 cents.
