Morning, Anniephans!
A real sword for a movie prop? Those movie prop swords were a cheap piece of tin. I remember the one Errol Flynn used in Robin Hood actually bent in the sword fight scenes!
Here’s the link to Annie 2004 .

I like “cold steel avenger”. I think I will call my Swiss Army Knife that from now on.

I just looked in the archives for the 4-10-02 strip, the original of this one. It does not have the Zoom feature activated, but this one does.

The old gal isn’t exactly the calvary, but she might help Oliver and his compadre out of a tough spot.

If she fails to shish-kabob the bad guys, maybe she can make them laugh themselves to death?

That is a chopping sword more than stabbing. She can cut them off at the knees. Does Annie know martial arts? She should.

I believe it was actually a cheap piece of aluminum. Of course Flynn was fencing with Rathbone in that film, and Basil was considered by many to be the finest swordsman in Hollywood. Flynn needed all the help he could get from a light weapon. And if it bent it bent.
