As I recall, there was a little matter of skyjacking and kidnapping; and for this, Santiago, they need you. And I believe Bronko was an escaped convict.

Not necessarily. Remember Annie and Santiago encoutered Bronko and his little band of sociopaths in the same area where they met up with Sparks and company. As I recall they’re at least somewhat involved in this one too.
