Many of the missle silos built during the Cold War have been sold to civilians. Some have been turned into living quarters, too.
Maybe the six airshafts were put into those positions to get the best air circulation down below ground.

The place has air vents. So the air inside is probably ok to breathe. All their tramping around hasn’t set of any mines, yet. Grimm’s vain attempt to open the hatch doesn’t seem to have activated any alarms.
Help me here. What else might WE be able to deduce?
