That’s the general, isn’t it?
Doris was just a plot device to lure the general out here, down New Mexico way. Now he’ll be getting back together with Daddy, for what reason we shall see.
Since I’ve never been right before, none of this will actually happen. But I could be wrong.

This is where Sandy’s Trainer teaches Sandy to retrieve the charred remains of General Grim.

There used to be 6 to 8 pages of the Sunday comics in the Tulsa World. Now the Comics insert is 4 pages with half of the front page being an ad.
They did make the strips smaller sized, too.
And they often edit out the 1st couple of panels of a strip to make it fit the space.
Mr. Am needs some reading glasses.
The only part of the Tulsa World which they didn’t cut back on is the Sports Section.

Forced into retirement General Gilead Grimm is going to end up crash landing on the Broadcast Ranch.
If Mr. were to be teleported back to Atlantis before Grimm saw him, Grimm would see nothing out of the ordinary on the ranch except he would see Oliver “Daddy” Warbucks there.

Oh good, Warbuck and Grimm and Mr. Am,…feels and sounds like a campaign team to me.

Nice spot for engine trouble….better than downtown Macon, Ga. where I had one quit.

Looks like one of our contributors is rambling again.

Never see a plane with engine troubles going up. Or landing safely. Or fixed mid flight. Did we really need the going down?

Mr Prongs, actually the majority of pilot training is about how to land safely when something goes wrong. And an experienced pilot like the General and the wide open fields that the Broadcast Ranch seems to have he should have plenty of choices to put it down without much trouble.

The Sunday New York Daily News back in the 70’s was a Glory and a Joy! So many pages, and all of them beautifully written, illustrated and colored!
