Walking on the edge – sacriligous comparison to the great “I am?”

Wonder where Daddy got the cowboy duds in the middle of nowhere?

@dwyant, I’m pretty sure the only intention is the play on verb tenses - appropriate due to the time travel context. If you think about it, time travel by itself goes a long way toward god-like power. The primary power of the Olympians was enacting “fates”.
As to God with Moses (and Jesus with the Pharisees), the meaning is that God is an eternal present - time is something he created for this universe, not something he is subject to or needs to manipulate. .. A far cry from diddling around with time like the Atlantians.

If it were sacrilegious to say, “I am,” we would not even be able to use any form of the verb to “be.”
In spite of what some people believe, the name of the God of the Jews/Israelites/Hebrews was still being pronounce aloud even in public in Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria during the time of Jesus and the disciples.
The devout Jews stopped saying aloud as a word the 4 Hebrew syllables of “YHWH” after the Romans destroyed Jerusalem in 70 AD.

Oliver “Daddy” Warbucks and Annie are in cowboy country; but, they probably brought their already purchased Western-style clothing with them.
Notice that Warbucks is wearing his cowboy boots correctly the working cowboy way … with his pants legs tucked into the boot shafts.
