Given her recent history, the train should be derailed in about 20 miles by a deranged anarchist.

NO, no, no. The whole point of Annie is redemption. These girls are starting to see the ‘magic’ that surrounds her. Annie will lead these two lost souls from their wayward ways to a better life. And a better life in Annie’s world is using your gifts and opportunities to their fullest. With luck (providence), pluck and determination the nastiest, most evil and hopeless situations can be overcome and set right.

and after the train is derailed our heroine is knocked unconscious and her two buddies abandon her, thinking her dead. Then she awakes but she has amnesia and stumbles onto a farm where a sympathetic and loving, but clueless old farming couple who miss their runaway daughter , adopt her into their family . Weeks later a tornado strikes the hapless farm and Annie is swept up into the funnel and when she awakens in a tree, miles away, her amnesia is gone and she remembers who she is.
At that point an unscrupulous cyberbomber sees her in the tree and…………..
oh never mind

Ninap19 is right. Annie is also right - any way out of Hell is a good way to go.
