I have a special affectation for Annie because, years ago, my mother bought me the soundtrack album for the movie. About two years later, I watched part of the movie itself at the Ottawa Child Study Centre, but I missed the other half because my parents took me to my uncle’s for Christmas the next day.

I suspect the real reason he’s HQ’ed in Mexico is for the semi-exotic locale. The real-life Mexico is not an attractive spot for an international conglomerate, especially when one considers Mexico’s red tape regarding foreign investment.
