    Morning, Anniephans.

Unfortunately the news papers are their to cater to their corporate sponsors not fidelity in news reporting.

Nope. Newspapers are there to cater to (1) their readers and (2) their advertisers. If readership crashes because of lousy reporting, the paper goes under (folds!) because the advertisers will take their money elsewhere.

Yes so by having to do so any news reporting that turns against a sponsor the reporter if fired. Which is better?

It’s rare for a newspaper to have so few sponsors that publishing a truthful story that casts a sponsor in a bad light will result in the reporter being fired… but it can and does happen… at which point other news organizations can and often do their own stories, pointing out the truth.

The challenge to you, my friend, is to come up with a better system that protects everyone’s rights and doesn’t give excessive power to the government to censor or control the reporting of news.
