I felt the same way about War and Peace and I didn’t have someone looking over my shoulder while I was trying to figure it out.

War and Peace. Oh yeah, Spring break 1977. Five hundred characters and I don’t remember a thing. Isn’t a liberal arts ed great?

Dr. Axelrod’s Atlas of Freshwater Aquarium Fishes- Now there’s a big book!!! Of course, it mainly a bunch of pictures, so I pretty much breezed through it. Definitely more fun to read than “war and Peace” ( that is, if you’re an aquarium enthusiast like me.) Also liked the Mini-Atlas version. (which I have.)
