This is actually pre-Toby and Barkeater. Enjoy, comic fans. Good stuff is coming.

Another great strip from the mind of the Fake Rockstar. He just keeps raising the bar in comics. Belly up!

Corey started putting this up 2 months ago. You can see the previous strips here:

(actually it looks like this is the first strip, so he’s probably starting from the beginning here on GoComics)

Corey - I do hope this is the start of big things for you.
I love all the strips you do, just hope you can keep up.

I know I won’t be popular for saying this, but I prefer Toby and Barkeater Lake. There really isn’t a need for another slice of suburban life strip and I don’t find this one compelling at all. I will keep an eye on it in case it gets better, but…

It’s amazing to me how one artist can create this many strips and keep them all rich and funny and unique. I envy the genius of ONE good strip, but wow - FOUR? I gratefully enjoy them all!

I like this one…it’s far from slice of suburban life, I don’t even think Corey could do that kind of comic. It’s a bit on the aburdist side, which suits me fine.
