   Yeah, too bad the term “feminist” has such a negative connotation now. Like a lot of words, it was overused and abused.

   oh so true. So sad how something that should mean “people should have the same rights regardless of gender” has become synonymous in people’s minds as “irrational and hateful female.”

   Yeah, with shows like Family Guy being so popular, don’t count on that happening anytime soon. You don’t even have to say you’re a feminist. You just need to act confident and secure and be female, and people will assume you hate men.
