    Glad you liked the movie
    During WWII a lot of Maltese were pro Italian and were considered traitors by the Brits
    Many prominent polititions were exhiled to Uganda and Kenja for the duration
    But that part about a Maltese traitor is purely fictional

    Thanks for the background. One never knows just how much to believe in a movie like that. But surviving those times certainly called for a tremendous amount of courage.
