    Rule of Thumb:

Who would recommend Jack’s [Rose & Crown?] Pub?
    Fodors? Michelin Guide? Lonely Planet?

Here’s a tie to Yesterday’s talk of Buster: Look familiar?

Junior seen here being taking a corner kick missing the football and kicking the corner flag.
Junior was drawn by Reg Smythe who went on to created Andy Capp. Circa September 1955

Hmmmm; He’s had at least 22 Pints before, and walked Home to tell Florrie about it….and those are 20 oz, so….the equivalent of around 40 12 oz. Newcastles, I’d say. What’s the Malt of choice in Malta? Malta Malt Liquor?

I am not a beer afficionado
but our best local beers are Cisk Lager and Hopleaf
My sons and their wives prefer Lager
Malta is a derivative of Melita which is latin for land of honey

Aye he should have read the rest of the description: where the locals give a warm welcome, should they or he, ever again reach consciousness.
