    Welcome one and all!

Hope Alley realizes what he said if he hopes for any understanding between them.

Of course then, sometimes there may be subtle or more differences in a couple of the Sunday panels from the week ones, like slightly different dialog or perhaps a different panel completely.

Alley is completely dense and does not even hear the words when he says them…

Calvin and Hobbes has 265,921 daily followers on this site, Non-Sequitur 120,984, Pickles 114,110, Chickweed Lane 63,144, Dick Tracy 32,815 and Alley Oop has 19,951. This is just a small example … but you get it. Right?

methinks that what alley said works both ways. it was ooola who stalked off in anger, cutting off any chance for further conversation. after all this time she should know the type of guy oop is. under carole’s portrayal they are both immature and sophomoric, as is this entire sequence.
relationship advice from carole? please, that’s madness!

time to move on to a new adventure…with the emphasis on adventure, not talking heads and floating creepy leaves.

He does hear what he is saying. He does not feel Oolah is more important than his self.
That’s what happens when people become very comfortable around each other. They are no longer on Best Behavior and the real pecking order comes out.
The “I’m more important to me than you are important to me” has busted up many a marriage at the 7-year point.

So what. Heavenly Nostrils has only 6112 and Dana is already in publication.
The big numbers are in the re-runs not the daily risk takers. If there wasn’t a copyright problem Classic Oop, and I might add the other 35 years of Lil Abner would have the high numbers.
Krazy Kat NEVER had high readership. It is a very niche cartoon. Chickweed relies too much on sex appeal but some times delivers a good graphic punch to the eye.
