Good Morning to those reading this strip!

    Well . . . that’s not bad thinking on Ooola’s part.

Hope it works out for her.

Not sure how much that will hide her since you can plainly see the ground underneath the leaves…

Alternate Alley Oop Chapter 21 “Dead To Rites” (5) 2/5/2014 Wednesday

Dilly gets Ooola and Alley back up on the raised dais, Ooola has her six gun pointed at the heart of the tree climber. She knows the sound would draw the blue beast to them immediately. Outside the bolts are finally freed and pulled back to open those main doors to the Arena. They can hear the giant creature feasting on the corpse of the pale mastodon.
“It should be finishing soon,” Alley commented. Ooola nodding in agreement as they move to get the straps off the four kings.

Wizer bursts in riding his red and black horned ride Gertie.Flanking him are two men each of which has a smoking brazier on the end of a pole putting forth a narcotic smoke known to relax dinosaurs of any species. (Known by both Wizer and Eeny.)

For the moment the other topics are shelved and the Pentagon Round Table concentrate on Dr. Tucker’s stated problem. He has a presentation, as per General Mann’s recommendation, so that they can see just what he has uncovered in relation to a tiny insignificant European country could cause so many problems for Europe and even the world. (The other threats mentioned each alone are enough to go to Def Con 3 at least.)

Hmmmm …. some animals locate their prey by smell and sound, especially in the dark.

    Morning, Oopsters.
Oh, no! The berries did an Alice-In-Wonderland trick on her and shrunk her to an inch high!

That, or the berries have a hallucinogenic effect.

If there was any doubt about the Alley Oop strip having new blood on it’s “creative” team, today’s drawing of Ooola should convince you.

A few days ago I wished that Carole would write above a third grade level.

    My apologies to third graders.

I don’t know if it’s new blood on the team, but you’re right. The drawings of Ooola seem to get worse by the day.

Whoever is doing the drawing must also have ingested some magic berries.

Cold Winter Morning Greeting to the Benders and the readers of Alley Oop. Great storyline, it keeps moving
along.I always enjoy the way the Benders use dots for
eyes when doing distance shots vrs regular eyes for up
close. Well Ooola is going to roll herself up in a leaf to
hide herself while she gets 40 winks. Great idea but if a
pterosaur sees her from up on high, he may think that
she is a giant caterpillar and pick her up to feed to his
    little ones.
