Umpa has a point, cruel though she may be in expressing it.

    Morning, Oopsters.
Meanwhile, Ooola is battling a saber-toothed cat on a cliff-edge.

Will Alley ever find Ooola in time for Christmas or maybe after Christmas?

’ Many parts off the Citadel look similar.’
    .
That’s what happens when you use the lowest bidder on a project!
Alley still has his club/ ax, doesn’t he? He can take that door out by attacking the hinges. Even modern day doors can’t withstand the might of one swing of Alley’s club.

Good Morning Benders and readers of Alley Oop. Umpa
has master the timed zinger Her response ’I’m sure you
can manage on your own’ while outside the cave then, after
entering the cave, saying loud enough for Alley to hear, ’Isn’t that what you always do? That is the problem in a nutshell.
Of course it doesn’t look like Alley’s listening’’

It’s an uphill battle to FORCE someone to do something-
but if you set up a situation such that they WANT to do something, then miracles happen.

Example: If you asked a friend to drive 120 miles to a certain address and jot down plate numbers, he’d probably tell you to go jump in a lake.
Yet in a recent advice column, a man was doing just that for a drive-by of his ex-girlfriend’s house!

One exciting story after another. How the heck does Carole do this, day-after-day (except Sundays).

is this what’s known as dramatic tension? perhaps carole is trying for that, but it’s clumsy and incompetent, coupled with lame dialogue.

i still think ooola will come strolling into view any minute, er day, er week now.

No, Christmas was only mentioned on Christmas Day, and even that wasn’t every Christmas.
