Alternate Alley Oop Chapter 20 “The Coup in Moo Falls Mainly on Oop”(115) 12/10/2013 Tuesday

Alley hides behind a boulder as a group of Hairshirts with torches held high flanked by xooloo spiders as they walk along on some errand or another. Nearby on one of the lower prominences is that enigmatic stranger watching intently with a kind of charged concentration. The same one that has been watching for some time. Who most recently came from Lem. Someone Alley has met before, including recently.

Alley, from his observations, thinks he knows where the two Queens are housed. An ornate small mountain hollowed out and dressed with all kinds of art work from the five kingdoms they now rule.µ Alley looks in wonderment at the kind of labor that must have been involved to produce this. Slave labor by Eeny, mostly, with Wootietoot’s power over the hated xooloo spiders to

enforce it. His blood boils again at it even as he is wowed by the whole construction of it. From the porphyry blocks from Kam to the fluted columns from Sawalla mixed with the elaborate vine tying of Jerooly into all kind of shapes including framework for chairs and tables to the black stone from Lem and of course the granite of Moo. All of it crawling with xooloo spiders and Hairshirt guards all female and muscular and standing like statues with their deadly weapon of choice, their spears at the ready.

All Oop has to do is to find a way in past all that and confront Eeny and make her disarm and disband her military. Then to speak with Wootietoot one last time

µ Kam, Jerooly, Sawalla, Lem, and of course Moo.

Yeah, it is beautiful, except for the dinosaurs. Somewhat like Ooola. Well, she may be being taken care of. We will see. The
Ooola I have seen in the past could eat that cat. Depending.
If she was in a bad mood or not.

    Morning, Oopsters.
He’s carrying a book. Does he intend to read the Mary W. Shelly novel in his spare time?

Yes Oop, with those Ruby Slippers you could have gone home any time you wanted to, but you had to discover it for yourself

Good eye Colonel Clause. Maybe Alley left it behind because he doesn’t want to go back to the future any more.

Good Morning Benders and readers of Alley Oop. Alley
appears to be dropped off in the picnic site he left from. Miraculously most of the the black and blue bruises
have disappeared. The question now is will he find a
relaxing spot and read the book or will he look to find
Ooola and let her know he’s back. He’s still in the dark
    concerning her cliff predicament.

If you look closely, there are still several bruises and the knot is still on his head.

I believe Wonmug did way back in the 1940’s. Oop used to read a lot of books in Wonmug’s library back in Hamlin’s day.

We will see. But I bet it shows up again.
@firebrand1 … In the first panel, the bruises are there, The colorist just didn’t add the purple and as Wootietoot noted, the knot on the heard is still there.

And Oop still does. He is branching out in languages too. It seems that the time traveling seems to have extended his life too. The space-time vortex somehow.
