Good Morning to all of you.

And a special greeting to Fuddy Duddy, for realizing that I do indeed enjoy reading Alley Oop.

Today’s Strip . . . Tv Tropes calls this Afraid of Needles.

I for one don’t think Alley’s used to having his blood taken out.

    Morning, Oopsters.
I think this is the best story Night-Gaunt has done yet.

I can believe a time-traveling caveman who rides on a dinosaur. But a doctor who takes his own blood samples? I call ‘no way’!

If you were to cut him with a knife he might be ok he is used to that sort of thing. But a NEEDLE… now that is scary!

    V. T. Hamlin had Alley in the hospital for treatment several times.

A cool fall morning to the Benders and the readers of
Alley Oop. It is possible that Alley has never seen his
blood being drawn before. I don’t mind shots myself
or blood being drawn but watching a needle enter
my arm feels weird. I agree that he is definitely not
hemophobic. Over the years a lot of blood has been shed around Alley.

What blood type will Alley be? AO+ ?
    -
Might he be some type of universal donor? In which case, will we see someone funding trips into the past to extract blood? If memory serves, they’ve (various theys) tried it with diamonds and oil.

Since when do Alley’s bumps and bruises last this long?

As far as needles go, I’m accustomed to being a human pincushion, but I cannot bring myself to watching them insert that bleeding needle.
Looks like Oop’s knot on the haid suddenly disappeared.

So. Is that the proverbial square needle we used to hear about?

On the other hand that ancient needle, aka shotgun, scared
the bump right off of his head so it was a good thing.

His head is tilted; the knot is still there, but hidden.

What clinic do you go to? They always suck my blood with a horse hypo 4 inches long the width of a upholstery bodkin.
    .
One bugger whacked that salad shooter in with the palm of his hand, missed the vein, but took out everything else inside the elbow.
    .
If the crazy drivers didn’t need the 0neg I’d never go back.
