    Good Morning, all . . .

Elbert Wonmug may be a doctor, but Mary was hoping for a medical one.

Let’s what the ol’ doc can do, ok?

Don’t think he can move him to the future
once Oop’s died in the past. Remember
“Back To The Future”? We will see. Time
travel has it’s limitations, at least in the
movie. So then, let’s see. I have to say, this
is hair raising. Also, he only has
minutes, to get Oop’s heart going. Brain
will begin to die after that, although the
severe cold will work in their favor.

    You know, they could use her parasol to draw lightening;
there’s plenty of it around. That would be a jolt.

Oop’s skin looks ashen, like he’s already dead.

He does look ashen. Well, I mean after all, look what
he’s been through, dead or not. I wouldn’t
be rosy pink, at this time either. He had quite a ride. The
chest trauma could of killed him before
the fall , looked like a direct hit to his sternum. The
force of the ground hit would be enough
    for cardiac arrest. Probably multiple
    (yeesh) skull fractures..
God only knows what all is broken, to
say nothing of brain/ organ trauma.
    neurological damage..
They need help (TRAUMA TEAM/HOSPITAL. Can
    Doc transport him in time?

    Morning, Oopsters.
One of the early tenets of time travel in the V.T. Hamlin universe was that one could not be killed outside of his own time period. It has to do with the time/space continuum thing. In other words, it’s a rule that while time traveling, Oop simply cannot die.

Fifteen days left until Hallowe’en – so Doc will be able to produce a miracle cure – perhaps a couple of paddles – from his bag.

Good catch there, but, and I hate to remind anyone, We are not in Mr. Hamlin’s universe anymore.
Shoot, we aint even in Kansas (except for those what actually are in Kansas, I reckon you could claim piracy ifen you was in AR-Kansas)

Good Morning Benders, John Wooley, and readers of Alley Oop Hopefully Doc has something useful in his magic bag.
Maybe a old boy scout manual or a red cross cpr manual. Definitely Mary’s solution to get a doctor is bad Doctors at that time were apt to say He’s not breathing because of swelling inside his head. Best to bleed a couple pints of
blood out to reduce the swelling. At the time people did
try hitting the chest with fists and branches to try to restart the heart Chances of it working 1 in a 1000. Better to try
attracting the lightning and jumpstart the ticker.

Manual CPR could be a real problem with the previous chest blow from our ibex.
Maybe a couple of broken ribs would make it easyer for Doc to apply addequate manual compressions.
