I have a feeling Mary will see a defibrillator in action.

Just Googled “Alpine ibex” – the horns get MUCH larger than the ones that bonked Oop. Ouch!

Between ornery Alpine ibex and Pamplona, I don’t know which one I’d pick…

I must have missed something. What obvious problem are you referring too? Why do you call the plan to go down the mountain poorly thought out? I’m not trying to start a big ugly argument. I just want to hear your thoughts on this.

I don’t know what LoboGrande had in mind and hope he will answer himself. But I’ll hazard a guess that they didn’t want to run into people. Interacting with people might have the effect of influencing history. With this year of no summer, how do we know there’s any more vegetation at the lower altitude?

So – Alley made it down faster than he had anticipated. And only 17 days left till Hallowe’en. Mary’s inspiration should be right around the corner. The question is – WHICH corner?

Maybe this is how the Benders end the strip—Oop is dead. Of course, they could carry on another week with Doc taking Oop back to Moo.

I have asked several times about your “credentials”You have alluded to knowledge of inside information on the creation of this comic strip. I’m just wanting to know what makes you so “special” as to know the background.

vVBud,Sometimes The sunday strip is simply a recap of thw previous week and a new panel appears Monday. Other times, the Sunbday Recap will have a “Preview” of Monday’s strip. Today’s case is the latter.vvAKHenderson… The defib has been mentioned ever since Oop climed the cliff. But the Info on the Goat is interesting.

Doc will be pleased when he rolls Oop over, and finds the moth splattered on the back of his (Oop’s) jacket.-Hey, nobody said anything about bringing back intact samples.

I was replying to an earlier post by LoboGrande, but I see now that he, or somebody, removed his post. He had stated that Doc and Oop could not go down the mountain for “obvious reasons” and that the plan of going down the mountain was “poorly thought out.” I simply wanted him to elaborate on this.

The fact that you said Mr Wooley is writing and if memory serves me, You alsi said Carole was not writing. How do you Know that? Now If you can obviously deduce why they should not go below the tree line, then you can deduce what Im asking. Quit dancing around a mulberry bush.

Fair enough. I asked a question and you answered it. Thank you for your courteous response. And, in theory, you’re right. Interacting with the population could seriously damage the time line. However, this has never been an impediment in the Alley Oop comic strip. Oop has always interacted with the people in the various times he visits. In fact, one of his very earliest time travels resulted in him being a major player in the Trojan War.

So according to Lobogrande heading down the hill would be poorly thought out and have obvious problems. Like running into other people. He says this even though it would have been a short walk. Proven by how quickly Mary climbed to where Oop and Doc were. Also Oop has never had any issues interacting with other people during his travels.I guess in Lobograndes mind climbing straight up a cliff while it’s dark and raining and then messing with a wild animal while it’s trying to eat would not be poorly thought out or have obvious problems.

LocoGrande is usually pretty insulting so that would be my guess.
