Good Morning and Salutations to everyone out there!

Guess the butterfly served as a bit of distraction while the ram’s getting ready to butt Alley.

    We’ll see on Friday.

Oh , Alley….he is only trying to
help; he’s just about given his
    all.
Do they have butterflies in Switzerland
in the winter? I just always thought
    they were part of spring.

Here in SoCal the monarchs pass through in September- October on their way to their wintering spot in Mexico. I’ve been seeing them for the last couple of weeks as I work outside in my garden.

Here in the Sierra Nevadas we don’t have to chase the mountain goats out of the garden. But they say it used to be problem in the late 1800’s.

    Morning, Oopsters.
I’ve been asking for the Benders to give us something unexpected. Well, it looks like they came through. We have a butterfly! Who was expecting this?

Good Morning Benders, John Wooley and readers of Alley
Oop. A butterfly, a mountain goat and a living plant.
What more could Alley hope for. Of course Doc per usual,
didn’t give Alley the specimen containers before he climbed
the mountain. There are some species of butterflies that
hybernate in cold, as a adult, in crevices. This butterfly could have woken up and is trying to fly. They can fly above 55
degrees so this one won’t fly or live long. Soon all Alley has
to do is pick up the frozen butterfly , grab the plant, avoid the
goat and climb down the mountain. He definitely has a full
    to do list.

And Sammy Davis Jr.. There was even a song with those lines back in 1968. It made it somewhere on the Top 40.
