She must think Doc is one of those creatures that can only see moving objects.

Unless Doc Is color blind you will not be invisible to him with a bright red cape in a snowy landscape even if u stand still… I hope the benders aren’t the ones coloring their comics or this will be very very dumb.

Good Morning Benders, John Wooley, and reader of Alley Oop. Doc cannot seem to grasp the concept of not displaying 21st century technology to inhabitants of the
18th century. Mary Godwin is now convinced he is a wielder
of dark magic and very dangerous. The Wizer would give
his eye teeth to be thought of in this way. Since Doc is dangerous, his partner with the Axe (Alley) must be doubly so. Mary did try the rabbit technique of freezing to become
invisible but with a red cloak and Doc’s torch device
    flashlite) it didn’t work.

When I visited Norway in early February of 1982 the landscape was as white as you could get in and the trees were bleak and bare. But every building outside of Narvik, Norway was painted a bright red, as bright as you can get. I asked the tour guide why? His response: “In a snow blizzard that is the only color you’ll see. Most of the buildings are for survival. If you’re caught in a snow blizzard you take shelter. There’s fire wood, food and water. when the storm passes you’re required to leave a donation ($) so the owner can restock it for the next unfortunate soul caught in a storm to take shelter.” So, Mary is wearing a bright red cape and well unless its pitch black – SPOTTED!

It’s a dark and stormy night, ya see. It’s pitch black dark and Mary thought she could hide in the shadows. She didn’t count on the flashlight app in Doc’s smartphone.

Avoid contact in uncharted territory is rule for your own safety, not the natives well being, nor messing up time space.
    .
Unless you are Homer trying to fix a toaster, leaving stuff behind is great way to mess up the experts on the *they did not have this *pedestals.

Oop and Dinny sightings by Ray Harryhausen .
    .
Compare Joe Young to Troglodyte, and the way Talos wields sword like a club. It’s obviously Oop

Mary shouldn’t worry about Doc, she needs to stay clear off the area Ally Oop is going to land when he falls

Looks to me like Doc may have found Mary Shelley and Oop will be her inspiration for Frankenstein.

I’m being picky FB1 but this story is set in the 19th century.
