It appears that she is even farther away now than she was.

Good morning to anyone who’s reading this strip.

Looks like Alley should get used to his new clothes.

Meanwhile, Mary’s curiosity could get the better of her.

Alternate Alley Oop Chapter 20 “The Coup in Moo Falls Mainly on Oop”(15) 8/29/2013 Thursday

Alley notes that the rough hewn blocks are fit together very precisely. There are alcoves some ending with a door others dead ended as he walked passed them.

The sounds of the arena were muffled but not silenced. (It is very loud.) And he is trying to listen for any who would be walking either direction along this same way.

His feet are big and calloused, but also remarkably sensitive, he could feel foot steps coming his way. What to do? He knows what to do.

That could well be true … it IS a mountain and she would be following a trail … and mountain trails do NOT follow a straight line from point A to point B … they tend to follow cat walks and have switchbacks

True that, mountain trails, and switchbacks, been there,
    done that.

Does this kind of remind you of the professor
("Doc"and “Back To The Future,”?) Meeting
and falling in love with a beautiful lady in another
era? (Sigh….this is sooo romantic….wow. ) This shows
promise of being one of Jack and Carole Bender’s
    classic strips.

This sure beats Ooola, being rude and
ugly to everyone , huffing and puffing, stomping
    around in a steam

Joe, fully agree(mostly), particularly about WA Mozart..
Gentlemen of his musical abilities come along once in a millennia…Well , during the 1600s- to the 1900s, there were quite a few…..good ones, but only one Mozart…
    Were were fortuniate.
Now, IMO, we have nothing but shock and awe (noise).

    Morning, Oopsters.
Agree with Joe to a point, but when you want to read a comic that should be at least as good as Gasoline Alley or Crankshaft, and you repeatedly get one as bad as Cathy or Momma, I believe we have a right to ask for better quality.

joe-b-cool, I agree with what you say, but you’re wasting your time saying it. Might as well let it drop, and move on. I suggest – suggest, mind you – that you just comment on the published Alley Oop, and let others go off on their own tangents.

Davidf42, I agree with you about Cathy and Momma. That’s why I don’t read them.

Good Morning Benders, John Wooley, and readers of Alley Oop. There is a positive effect from Alley being exposed to Doc, when Doc uses a colloquial expression like ‘pity party’
Alley admits that he doesn’t know what he means. Even the
Wizer, back at the end of May, admitted to Doowee that he didn’t know the meaning of the word ‘Putsch’ that Doowee
had used. Learning wanted or unwanted is increased.
