    Good Morning, Alleygators!

    The week has started.

I wonder if Mary will unintentionally derail our pair’s plans?

Alternate Alley Oop Chapter 20 “The Coup in Moo Falls Mainly on Oop”(12) 8/26/2013 Monday

He sees two dark blobs with faint pale green pin points on them move toward each other then merge for a moment then pass as they scuttled around the wide perimeter of the structure. Now is his time to run over quietly and start climbing.

Getting along the edge he feels around in the deeper gloom listening as he uses his broad tough hands to feel the rough stones making up the wall. Tight fitting stones.

He can feel no entrance but he can, with effort, climb the retaining wall that runs up the side and has a blazing torch on it. He makes it up the first tier, the shouting and screams getting louder.

He just notices steps carved or stacked so that he or anyone could walk up them to light and bank the fires then come down again. He follows the steps up toward the next burning flame then up again to a walk way at the uppermost rim of the coliseum. What he sees nearly knocks him over.

All right Oop, how did you pull those trousers on over those big boots?

Oop doesn’t normally wear boots or shoes at all, so it’s not real surprising that he’s got no practice at the tricks of getting them on.

    Morning, Oopsters.
I notice John Wooley’s name is back in the signature line.

Google translated Emile Schwaez’ comment as – Here, the strip Monday was not on the Sunday!

I learn a lot of history from this strip. For example, now I know that people walked the earth with dinosaurs and spoke English – long before there was an England.

No surprise. Watching Doctor Who I have learned that people all over the universe and throughout time speak and understand English.

The TARDIS is a telepathic translator.
    And yes, I’m a nerd.

Personally, I prefer to use Babel Fish.
    I own 42. :-)

Would you prefer they speak an unknown language? It is called brevity of the narrative. As for the Dinosaurs, well that is Creationism for you.
