    Good Morning, people.

Doc and Ava are here, all right. Oddly, Oscar hasn’t shown up.

Oh well, hope he shows up soon.

Shouldn’t he be getting out a coat that matches the time period where he’s going?

Time machine? I think it’s working. Or is this deja vu?

Its deja vu all over again.
I figgure Doc will see Oop on Tuesday. Doc has made some trips in the past, but with Oscar out of the Pic, he will have to accompany Oop. It would make sense to have Ooola around to help Ava monitor the time machine.

When each day’s 2 or 3 panel strip covers what might be a single paragraph of narrative in a short story or novel, you must expect for the story to move slowly most of the time. Otherwise, the strip would be disjointed. Admittedly, the illustrations do not lend themselves to rapid action due to a lock of background detail, but the writers do a fair job of keeping with the original artistic feel of the strip.

A statement of fact is a negative comment to you? How do you feel about all the whining about the strip by NG and Co.?

carole “clumsy dialogue and narrative action” bender at her best
    .
in spite of that the idea for this story arc does have possibilities, but can carole pull it off? time, probably an excruciatingly long period of time, will tell, but given her track record i have very little confidence in that.

Good Morning Benders and readers of Alley Oop. Nice to Ava back at the time lab again. As the bag lady she have to
go and collect the cash so the time machine can be fired up
for the trip. Doc is breaking out his sub zero winter outfit.
Too bad he won’t be doing any mountain climbing.
Briatollah is correct the winter suit is definitely doesn’t
match the time period. Doc will have to claim it is the
    latest from America clothes designers.

Never met them. How are you related to Night-gaunt?

Try Berks County. They know how to keep the ceilings high and the roofs pitch, the arbors deep, and the plastir wet wall.
    .
Doc’s place looks pretty energy efficient to me, as well as being able to withstand accidental blasts.

NG, You may want to add that the Writer at DT is interweaving several subplots, as one is resolved, another has taken its place. These guys are months ahead of us on their storyboard. Im not sure how far ahead jack and carole are thinking, But I can gar-on-tee they aint thinking like the guys on team Tracy

Thanks for the info and update. It’s good to know the real story, “Just the facts, Ma’am!”
    .
I’m here to read the comments, NightGaunt’s first (I used to relish the Hug-Pouncy’s, but haven’t seen any in a while), flag the trolls, and glance at the Bender’s offering to see if their story has advanced.
