    Good Morning out there . . .

Well, so far it’s not a bad set up, I suppose.

Alternate Alley Oop Chapter 19 “The Savage Land of Promise”(48) 7/25/2013 Thursday
“Now move out of that…now!” Com. Til ordered the colonists to. But they did not as Mr. Am and the Gom-Goos comfort them. “Troops take up positions!” The guys in the tan and dark blue armor move into position with shock rods in the ready stance.
“Open that door or we will force it!” He shouted getting a little steamed.
“Don’t bother, I’ll handle this!” Came a shout from behind them. They turned just in time to see a large, hairy main dressed in a dark blue BDU an green armband knocking men aside and waving a dangerous looking club at them.
“Freeze!” Com. Til shouted pointing his own auto fire glock at this new intruder. But he couldn’t believe it.
Alley doesn’t stop, he throws his heavy club knocking the pistol from Til’s hand. “You ain’t gonna stop anyone fella!” The big bruiser bellows back at Til.
§"Good work Alley, my friend, we shall meet soon and I shall explain."§ Alley heard in his head getting a warm feeling, then several soldiers pounced on him with shock gloves. It hurt.
Just then they all felt their skin having a strange crawling feeling. The hairs rising, not just on the back of their neck, but everywhere!
The stunned men felt it more in their activated shock gloves and batons, enough to allow Alley to throw them aside and get to his feet. (Feed back building up.)
Looking at the dark box the bright energies are seen resembling static electricity sparking on it and around it as it powers up, inside it everyone is safe but feeling strange.

Should’ve said NOOOOOOO, Mr. Nogood is up to nogood, just as his name is. He wants more than just samples of ‘Atmospheric conditions’ to analyze. He probably wants GOLD or other vaulable stuf, maybe even something from OUTER SPACE. Watch and see, I’ll bet I’m right. Look at his face, with those little beety eyes of his.

Heck, I thought he was going to ask Doc to bring back samples of chocolate, so he can compare the quality to the modern stuff.

That little iPhone or whatever it is, that’s going to “analyze atmospheric conditions”? Only the conditions in its immediate vicinity. Is Doc going to have to find a way to get the gizmo and the sample bottles up to 30,000 feet (in 1816, don’t forget!) to test high-altitude air contaminants? Methinks this “scientific” plan has not been well thought out.

“Oh I almost forgot…” part 2; a man named O. L. Driller will be going, highly recommended by the government.

Good Morning Benders and readers of Alley Oop. Air, Water
samples – bring back the wrong ones you could unlease a
virus not seen for nearly 200 years. Better to bring back some Swiss chocolate.

Now I know what they mean about the strip moving along too slowly.

Good morning Benders and all. Why is Wooley so doggoned STIFF, like he can hardly move. Does the real Wooley have problems moving or is it just Jack’s style. And samples of what? Water, air, soil? This isn’t making much sense.

Alley Oop is going to go back, too – and he’ll be the inspiration for the book Frankenstein. I think Lord Byron will show up, too.

The word Ubehebe is Native American for volcano and means ‘big basket in the rock’. Who’s the basket case?
