    Good Morning, people.

Now that Wizer and Guz are out the Pit . . .

    Let’s see.

As for Doowee, I echo Alley’s sentiments.

Alternate Alley Oop Chapter 19 “The Savage Land of Promise”(24) 7/1/2013Monday

Gen. Mann stresses that he considers any corporation running their own beach head on an alien planet to be a very bad idea. But the corporate reps and some of his military colleges were shouting him down on it. Ms Vashon gavels for order. He was very somber when he took the copter to the military air port to take him back to Area 49. He will discuss this with Doc Wonmug even though it is breech of security as those meetings he has with the Pentagon Table are Top Secret.)

Doc wonmug sees some information that Lavainge and Dexter found were very grave. The psychological officer is Dr. Theodore Trask who has a bad reputation (ACLU) and yet has been in and out of the academic, corporate and clandestine services over 30 years with the highest of praises from them. Now he is in charge of people without license. No oversight. Leaves Wonmug cold inside at the thought of it.

Alley has been meditating again to regain his calm. He has a furious temper but right now isn’t the place for it. Cooler heads prevail.

Mr. Am appears again with two of his soft, sweet long floppy eared humanimal allies to greet the children and calm them again. Also giving them a food boost to their underfed bodies and minds. One of his own creation. He is also ready to speak with the parents and other adults. It must be done carefully for he and his people are in enemy territory. (Reminds him of the 17th century British Empire and the
colonies in North America, sad times those were.)

Anticipating the reaction from the security service he had deactivated a camera in another location on the opposite side of where they are. Crema, one of the two female furry beings, made sure that the camera in their room only saw a loop of the past 20 hours. They should be fine for the nonce.

So why does Dinny need a rope harness to get them out? Isn’t he big enough to stick his long neck down there and pick them up by their clothes?

Because Alley saw how Doowee panicked, so didn’t want that reaction from Wizer and Guz.

    I think you are correct.

So now that that’s over with, maybe we’ll have a good time travel story.

But both Gus and Wizer know Dinny, Doowee didn’t.

    What happened to night-gaunt’s story?

Prediction: Guz is either madder than the hatter or he has amnesia!

My bet is on amnesia and he won’t remember he’s king because he’s not wearing the crown. I assume it’s still in the pit … or Wizer has it.

    What happened to night-gaunt’s story?

I suspect that Night-Gaunt49 fell victim to the machinations of a troll who was threatening GoComics subscribers, threatening to have their accounts deleted if they didn’t “join his army”. He was a very obscene person, with an obscene screen name. I can’t say it here, but the initials are F.D.B.(L.). I warned people about him on several sites. He was showing up and spewing his venom on B.C., Big Nate, Dog Eat Doug, and Garfield. It seems that if you replied to him, your account would get deleted. (In my warnings, I described this, and I figure anyone who’s capable of getting a vulgar screen name past the GoComics censors is capable of anything) I suspect that is what happened to Night-Gaunt.

Anyway, I flagged every single one of the goon’s posts, and apparently, I wasn’t alone in doing that; the goon is now gone.

However, if a lot of us write to GoComics on Night-Gaunt’s behalf, we might be able to get him re-instated.

What a refreshing change for a Monday. Two new cels for the story, and none of that egotism from n-gaunt to scroll over.
