    Good morning, fellas . . .

    Guz sees himself as the traditionalist, but I doubt Alley and Foozy would share his opinion.

    Knowing Alley, he’s gonna be fed up with Guz’ attitude.

    Alternate Alley Oop Chapter 18 “The Everlasting Man-thing”(87) 5/6/2013 Thursday

    Panel One

    The Belo-Radan vampire ship Bellox is now at it greatest height and speed. Their tail has returned as well. (SR-91) “The Americans again.” Xark murmurs as the screens show various aspects of their “echo” and other factors Bellox’s sensors use. That abomination, Baldander hovers near, its lower limbs now more human in configuration and the whole beast is turning into the colors near it mostly off reds and browns. It has been learning the written language of the vampires. (Unknown to them Baldander was performing its own scans from its incredible mind powers reading and probing all aspects of each member, only the intelligence of the Bellox ship can detect some of energies being used but not nearly all of them at Baldander’s command.)

    Panel Two

    The giant flying craft of the US Marines and Navy comes in too late to intercept the Belo-Radans but are there to pick up Capt. Falco at least.

    Panel Three

    The enormous size of the USACS “Briggs” covers the blasted heath where those statues of Kurulu stand and even some distance into the jungle beyond it. Several search lights come on and the blast of air from the giant sunken rotors in the perimeter hit them like a hurricane at first.

    Panel Four

    “It’s huge!” Alley shouts as he and the others look at the immensity of the unknown military craft as best they can in the dark, some of the flood lights make it barely visible. All that glare in their eyes.

    From all the old strips up to the present, it would seem that Moovians have just about any right they need, it’s just not codified anywhere. It’s just strange to have Oop asking what’s wrong with people having some rights.

    @Wootietoot

    Have to remember: Oop’s been in the future and have witnessed human change where he’s now really out of place with this discussion of rights in this prehistoric era of his – where they really didn’t have any rights, nor knew what it was.

    @Miles Hoffmann

    But Guz has also been to our era before, as has Umpa. That’s how he knows about Alley’s time-travel and why he was able to recognize Oscar Boom on one of Oscar’s more recent trips to Moo. Therefore, Alley’s ideas shouldn’t really be all that foreign to Guz.

    Guz, you are not going to throw out Foozy and Oop out of Moo rather than throwing them into the pit, are you?

    If Foozy and Oop are thrown out of Moo, maybe they should integrate into the kingdom of Lem.
