    Good morning, everybody . . .

Well, Guz, I’d listen to Alley if I were you.

Alternate Alley Oop Chapter 18 “The Everlasting Man-thing”(81) 5/1/2013 Friday

    Panel One

Gommer isn’t even his name but that was what he was given when he awakened in the lab on that machine after feeling like he had been electrocuted. His fighting skills came back quickly and it feels like old times fighting that big ape of a man. Strong too but he has leverage on the squat lug even with that machete so close. Looks like no stun beams. Time to get this mook in position to be cut and shot and get back to work.

    Panel Two

Stern is the first to move, Dr. Zillo’s biosynthetic organoplast limbs, all three of them, one arm and hand are still his own, were less affected and blocked some of Bellox’s beam. His thrall partner and leader was still down but moving slowly. (Probably because he is more infected than Stern with the vampire’s gift.) Xark, is angry and demanding them to “get up!”

    Panel Three

Just then several shots rang out and Gommer felt three somethings hit his back which startled him just enough for Alley to grab Gommer and backward roll throwing up a leg and sending Gommer over and away.

    Panel Four

Just then the other two formally dead people abruptly came out of the stun and got up and Gommer told them to move off “now!” Gommer wants to get back at that big ape man, just not today.

    Panel Five

A woman in a Navy fight suit walks up. “Hi, been following you since I had to bail out.”
    -
Dr. Zillo late of the CSA was returned from the dead in 1868 by vampire’s blood after being treated as a witch after the Pinkertons found him out. He had figured a way to create a synthetic flesh from plants that have nerves to replace limbs. A genius unsung and unknown. He wasn’t bothered by experimenting on live people either then or now.

Sinister mutterings in the pit today. Alley is telling King Guz the truth and he isn’t listening.

I find it very interesting that all the comments, good and bad, continue to be about the Benders’ script and no one is commenting on any of the Night-Gaunt 49 panels. I am wondering if anyone is actually following the alternative storyline. I confess that I have never read it.

A putsch led by a schnook and a schlemiel. I wonder how successful that will be.

The first panel makes Doowee look as if he has gone mad. Whizzer seem to be amazed.

Q4: try reading the alt by NG… if you ever think Bender’s Oop is boring this one will put you to sleep and likely is the reason for limited critiques.

Good Morning Benders and readers of Alley Oop. So Guz is too sure of himself, thinking he can do what he wants because no one else wants the job (up to now) Dowee the wannabe lawyer cast out from the future has a evil look and is ready to start the revolution in Moo. The question is will
the Moovians care? Alley and Ooola do, but they have always been involved. The rhymer Foozy is a pacifist
A lot depends on what Guz does from here on out.
