    You heard the guard, buddy.

Boy, some folks don’t seem to realize what the Pit is for.

Oh, well, I had a good feeling about the previous story and I have a good feeling about this one,Alleygators.

Unlike you, I have a very bad feeling about where this is going. I can read this one a mile away.

Since Guz is the King, this lawyer clown has no legal standing for whatever he is trying to do, so the guard should just kick him into the Pit along with the Wizer.

    They moved the pit.
Or they moved the rocks and cliff-side away from it.

Alternate Alley Oop Chapter 18 “The Everlasting Man-thing”(44) 4/25/2013 Thursday

    Panel One

Dr. Dark’s so excited he sends one of his new aircraft to pick up the Baldander. It leaves immediatly upon getting a load out, from the nearest air field under Belo-Rada colors and is at 60,000 ft and Mac 6 in less than 10 minutes from take off. It should be at the Chula island chain to reach Nan Ratol island in about an hour. They have that long to find it before Dr. Dark comes for it. (They have no dea about it either. But so is Sun Shine Ops alerted to it and are put into pursuit mode along with the rest of the USA military machine to follow.)

    Panel Two

Alley has decided they need to try to talk to the Baldander instead of chase it down. “We need to be friendly to it, make friends with it, try to talk to it.”

    Panel Three

“Are you really serious Alley Oop?” Jinx was very surprised at this.
“Well Jinx, the Apocryphal book of Tobit does tell us that not all such creatures are evil with inborn murderous intent. This Baldander may be one of them that isn’t evil.” Corinne told her.
“Okay.” Jinx and Alley say together. Looking at each other.

    Panel Four

“Great, I’m odd woman out here.” Jinx says almost shrugging.
    -
NORAD followed the craft’s progress after it left Belo-Radan air space but it was too fast to intercept. Only the entire satellite and global layered tracking grid network could maintain a lock on its position. (The wing shaped plane traveled at near hyper velocity at certain points of transit only the secret USA SR-91 “Timberwind” can keep up with it.)

That’s it? A whole day’s work for the Benders and they produced this? Two panels with nothing but 23 words of useless dialog? And some people have a good feeling about the upcoming story?

I’ve often wondered what your “Alternate” story would be like if it were an actually-illustrated comic instead of text-only.

One dude in a hole in the ground crying for help and another dude asking him if he needs help. Master storytellers are at work here.

Good Morning Benders and readers of Alley Oop. The
clueless Moovian may be educated but where did the two
books come from? Books denote a printing press or
further contamination from the future. Alternately they
could have come from trade with Atlantis or Mu. The Moovian wears a tie, like Fred Flintstone, a ‘white
collar’ worker? Most tribal groups have great gossip
networks to disseminate what going on in the village,
in this case Moo. Obviously this man is not connected.
