Alternate Alley Oop Chapter 18 “The Everlasting Man-thing”(43) 4/24/2013 Wednesday

    Panel One

During this time the Baldander has been making itself look more human. Standing erect, the tail absorbed, but its head is still fabulous in its bizarre excrescences. (Bat ears, stalked eyes, moth antenna and tentacles around its mouth clashing in green and black.) It has reformed its mouth much closer to a humans not just in appearance but internal structure it had on file in its fantastic memory. Though its teeth still resemble a reptile’s and a forked blue tongue periodically flickers out.

    Panel Two

Thousands of miles away in Eastern Europe, Dr. Dark in his Transylvanian mountain base overlooking the vampire nation of Belo-Rada watches this with stark interest. “The possibilities are limitless with this biological curio.” He said out loud to one of his lubins. (Also called lupins, intelligent hominid-sapient canids also called werewolves for their more vicious cousins. Domesticated by the vampires in the 1500’s to use them as worker-slaves different from the human thralls.) “Yes Lykos, it would deserve a project of its own. We have seen how they handle it, since they can’t we can handle the Baldander ourselves.” He grinned as Lykos had his furry rounded canid black head, behind the big stand up ears, rubbed by the super-scientist, Lykos’ left leg slapping the pavement and moaned with delight. (Lykos weighs in at over 180 pounds, most of it muscle.)

    Panel Three

Dr. Dark’s SEB’s are taking it all in and sending it via a tight beam to a weather satellite over them bounced to the Emile Five (Hungarian) communications satellite right to his mountainous abode.# With his crack I.T. team on it backed by some of the most powerful computers around rivaling Cray and IBM to process it. The “Berrowulf” is one of their secrets they keep from the world. Speed-of-light quantum dot matrix system.

    #Spy-Eye-Bug.

Oh no! It’s about to get completely silly and stupid. Pouncy bounce this clown into the Pit with the Wizer and Gonzo.

Also, the Pit seems to have gotten shallower all of a sudden.

Did you mean “light beam,” rather than “tight beam”?

I think Wootitoot called this one, Alleygators. Get set for three solid months of non-stop boring silliness.
