In case anyone’s wondering, THIS is for the benefit for those who don’t get Alley Oop on Sundays.

Well, can’t wait until Tuesday, Alleygators!

Alternate Alley Oop Chapter 18 “The Everlasting Man-thing”(41) 4/22/2013 Monday

    Panel One

For the first time every the Baldander takes a stance similar to Corinne, her information affecting its behavior, and tries to invoke a means of deflecting her mystic tendrils away. (One of Dr. Dark’s bug-like surveillance drones is watching it.)

    Panel Two

“This is odd,” Corinne says as she continues to concentrate, “it is almost as if some other sorcerer is blocking me from finding that creature. Most troubling.” (The second SEB is watching the others noting the psychic energies being emanated.)#

    Panel Three

“You know, I am reminded of a super villain, my grandfather (Walter Mark “Prof” Haley) and the other Challengers fought in the old days. His given name was Duncan Pramble a crooked archaeologist assistant who found, translated an concocted the “liquid light” formula from an alchemy text, though he lived and died under the moniker “Multiman.” He had shape shifting powers too." Dr. Jinx Haley told them.º
    -
    #Spy-Eye-Bug.
º It was the same kind of “liquid light” that brought Matthew “Red” Ryan back from the dead.

Considering Grand Wizer’s true plan, King Guz is being prudent here.

Gus seems hard to convince. Maybe Wizer needs to show some more leg?

In 2010 Paris Hilton escaped another stretch in jail by successfully tearing up blubbering in court that she thought a pile of cocaine was just chewing gum.

    Such gullible judges we have.

Wizer sounds lonely. Perhaps they should coax his T-Rex buddy to go down there and keep him company?

You’ll find out soon enough Guz when Umpa and Alley put you there and order Wizer released!

I don’t understand what Alley is so upset about. What the Wizer did is inexcusable. The King is obligated to punish the criminal somehow. What punishment has Alley suggested? None. But the evil deed cannot go unpunished.

You do realize that most, if not all, of us KNOW about the “last two panels on Sunday are re-run on Monday” business, right? You’re preaching to the choir.

I’m not trying to be annoying, Night-Gaunt, I enjoy your “Alternate” storyline, but you could do us, and yourself (mostly yourself), a huge favor if you would READ each installment of your story BEFORE you post. Not only would you catch spelling mistakes (although there were none today), but you can also discover sentences in which you left out an important word…otherwise the sentence makes little, if any, sense. For example, your very first sentence starts with: “For the first time every the Baldander takes a stance similar to Corinne…” Seems to me that the word TIME should immediately follow the word EVERY.

And this is about where our so-called criminal justice is – 100 million years later and its still “in the pit” .
These people need special help, yet they are confronted with bullets and hatred.
There must be a better, more effective way.
Give Alley time, he will think up a better solution, which the king will ignore, at best..
    -——————————
Would that have helped the Boston bombers? I doubt it.

Even with all the cross pollination of time traveling and time travelers Moo is still under an absolute ruler.

As I was really concentrating while sitting on the can this morning…. I wondered what happens when Jupiter Pluvius conjures up a massive bloody great Cumulo Nimbus, and dumps all manner of rain/hail/and lightning in the area of “the pit”…. how will Wizer fare ? It doesn’t seem like a desert in Moo, so inclement weather IS a possiblity… does Guz have a tarp ? Is this part of the hazard of incarceration there ? Is the pit well drained ? Does someone toss any prisoner an umbrella along with food ? Jus’ thinkin’.
