Well, Oopsters, let’s hope Wizer cools down . . .

. . . or is it too much to hope for?

    Well . . . HUGAHUGA – you know!

    What’s a caveman to do . . . ?
Empathy and understanding? Smack up-side the head?
I’m for smack up-side the head. If it doesn’t work, you know right away, so you can repeat the treatment.

Can a comics conversation possibly move any slower?

Comic conversations move slow by their very nature. Maybe you should watch videos instead?

You just can’t make some people happy. The comic conversation moves slowly so you can follow it. If it moved at a faster clip, the artists would have to leave out a bunch of stuff and you’d complain because too many important parts of the story were missing. This isn’t a TV detective story where the whole thing runs in an hour, with time out for commercials. Think more like a book, which may take a few pages because the author wants to make sure you have enough information so the story makes sense.

With all due respects, I disagree. I’m rereading the Alley Oop archives from the VT Hamin era and I read conversations there that cover a lot of ground in one daily strip. I also read current strips, like Endtown, where some very thought provoking conversations take place on a daily basis. Or even check out today’s Nancy or Peanuts. The conversations here at Alley Oop are snail’s pace slow!

Good morning Benders and all. I am getting the thought
that in Moo, the tribal family unit is preeminent. If everyone
is family then as dangerous as Wizer is, he is crazy Uncle
Otto and has to be cared for.
    Have a good one.

Hmm. Boston Bombers mean to kill. Wiz just wanted someone to dance with him. Lockup seems common answer. . . . . ?

    NG49…. panel 3…. that’s " among the 3 ", as “BETWEEN” only denotes 2 people.

The “now” generation is spoiled rotten, full of complaints, and low on producing anything of there own.

Now, back in MY day the newspaper editor ash canned letters complaining about the content on the comics page.

Mister, we could use a man like Vincent Hamlin ah-gain!

and oop the wimp checks in with a stupid comment. why should he or guz care whether wizer is mad? they should be furious with wizer for endangering moo and be ready to do more than let him cool his heels in a shallow hole in the ground. i think it’s called the pit btw. my those benders are clever!
this dragged-out conversation and continuation of a lame story arc is inane and ridiculous.

Careful. Don’t tempt the Benders. They may find a way to move it even slower. Although, if it moved any slower it would probably start going backward.

The only thing that amazes me more than the super slow pace is that some people actually defend it.

I particularly like Michaels comment that we couldn’t follow it if it moved any faster. What a joke.

I guess Oop is afraid of Wizer, unlike Guz. Again, I give credit to davidf42 and Night-Gaunt49 for putting up rather than shutting up whether or not you like what they have to say. Of course ignoring the comments is a valid option just as it is to ignore a strip one doesn’t like.
