    Good morning, folks . . .

The Monday recap for those who don’t get Alley Oop on Sunday.

I like it as much as the Sunday one.

I suppose this thus weeks marks a new storyline. If so I can hardly wait!

Either read the weeklys or just the Sunday comic. No need to strain yourself.

Yawn…! Seen one Monday recap of Sunday, seen them all. Wake me up tomorrow only if Wizer’s head gear flies off.

Hey, just the beating that Wizer is about to receive could take a weeks worth of treatment.
Oh, well! At least Wizer is no longer being ignored.

Agreed, jmcx4. Regulars on this site KNOW Sunday recaps a week. Those who get their knickers in a twist every day COULD sit easy Monday though Saturday, and then critique the bejabbers out of the strip on Sunday(or vice-versa).

Night-Gaunt49, I have a hunch most participants on this site don’t care too much whether you post at 12:16 AM or 8:02 AM. Your fans will find your post.
You could, however, apply a bit more editing, to clarify some of your writing. This excerpt is an example of run-ons, inadequate punctuation, and mixed tense (from previous panels).
“Corinne uses a bi-corder to look for that transmutational energy (looking of a lavender color ) and the individual cells still contain but this tissue is dead and quickly turning into dust. It seems that the Baldander can absorb it back into its body. (What allows it its protean powers to manifest.)”
    Or, you could have written:
“Corrine scanned for transmutational energy. The bi-corder chirped, and revealed the lavender color of dead Baldander cells.
She turned to Oop and said, “Yes, it’s been here. Baldanders can shed and reabsorb tissue. That’s how they change shape and color. Some cells die in the process. They’re left behind, and quickly turn to dust.”
    Two things to remember.
First, your audience is not as absorbed in your work as you are, and may be easily confused. Hence the importance of punctuation and sentence structure.
Second, short paragraphs provide needed white space to make your message easier to swallow.
And now, back to our regular programming.

Just a comment for all of the prissy, sanctimonious, would-be critics who never stop complaining about art work, story lines, et al. These are comics, people! If you want art, go to the Louvre. For literature, read Shakespeare. If you are all such experts, why can’t we find your work syndicated somewhere, or even published? No one forces you to read comics.
I for one am grateful to the comic illustrators and writers who share their talents with us and are able to come up with new humor every…single…day. Sometimes they miss, badly, but just as often their work elicits, from me at least, a hearty laugh. Thank you good folks for brightening my day.
