Alternate Alley Oop Chapter 18 “The Everlasting Man-thing”(14) 3/27/2013 Wednesday

    Panel One

“I can’t hold it any longer—-too strong!” Corinne tells Jinx as her strength is waining from its mindless animal fury.
“Get up here now! We have double bulkhead doors.” Jinx told her, set the auto pilot again and goes to open the hatch.

    Panel Two

With the cargo hold door closed to the sea and the fantastic Monster X free it is frightened and angry at being inside the jump-jet. It starts hitting the bulkhead left, right, up and down violently.

    Panel Three

In the cockpit cabin Jinx is working to keep the craft in trim, Corinne sitting next to her trying too, using the axillary control wheel. The inertial navigator is keeping their forward course toward Nan Ratol island.

    Panel Four

While all this is going on their CO Red Ryan checks in with them. Awkward is the least of it.
The title is taken from the G. K. Chesterton book, “The Everlasting Man.” You will find it influenced the nature of my little story independent of its creation.
“He would find the trail of monsters blindly developing in directions outside all our common imagery of fish and bird; groping and grasping and touching life with every extravagant elongation of horn and tongue and tentacle; growing a forest of fantastic caricatures of the claw and the fin and the finger. But nowhere would he find one finger that had traced one significant line upon the sand; nowhere one claw that bad even begun to scratch the faint suggestion of a form. To all appearance, the thing would be as unthinkable in all those countless cosmic variations of forgotten eons as it would be in the beasts and birds before our eyes.”

    Hey Sneaky, be careful!!
All these negative comments are just subliminal messages designed to trigger toxic, Bayesian-LaPlace radiation tuned to your brain waves.
Don’t you remember telling us about that secret political conspiracy from those CIA radicals in New York and New Jersey?
They are using these negative comments to bait you into divulging your location!
Run! Hide! They are watching you! Don’t forget the aluminum foil!!

Good Spring Morning to the Benders and the readers of Alley Oop. So the Wizer calls the the dinos he drugged, his
friends, and Guz and Alley, Children, he definitely has a Papa Stalin syndrome. Guz and Alley are acting like kids but this storyline, as I stated before, isn’t over until the Wizer
comes clean. Wizer’s whine concerning keeping an open
mind show he still doesn’t want to held accountable for his

I am sure the Benders and GoComics appreciate all comments as the strip is paid for based on views of the strip and advertisers ads.
