    Alternate Alley Oop Chapter 18 “The Everlasting Man-thing”(5) 3/18/2013 Monday

    Panel One

    After all the hubbub with the attack on Area 49 and Ft. Mitchum up top he is ready for a mini-vaction of sorts. Not to that monster infested planet that Operation Greenlight is going to with TexComm trying to save from the losses of being closed off to Earth 2 by the super dinosaur beings Earth 1 calls “Mokéle-Mbembe.” That haunted mansion was no picnic either. Maybe wind surfing on the nearby desert? He wasn’t sure just yet.

    Panel Two

    For the Challengers of the Unknown, named after the great Prof. George Edward Challenger who discovered Maple-Whiteland, Corinne and Jinx prepared with rations, water and flight check of their jump jet, sleek with engine nacelles on the end of the stubby wings that can rotate.

    Panel Three

    The creature has just come out of the jungle and waded into the Pacific off of Chile, and in so doing changed from a monkey-like creature into a dolphin kind of animal, but different from either.

    Panel Four

    In the mean time Baron von Clace (in the vampire Alley Oop clone’s body) is going to evil Chorazin, a hidden city on a Hell Mouth of dark forces, for the coming Infernal Sabbath with his two familiars, the vampire velociraptors. The monster hurricane would be in the way but he plans on flying West and go through Asia.

    When he is done Thorn and Shard will bear his mark upon their foreheads showing his ownership in runic cryptograms upon them. Then he will continue his nefarious work interrupted by his death in 1957.

    This is why Alley and his friends can survive in a dinosaur infested land.

    @Amber Thompson

    The T-Rex was more closely related to modern birds than to reptiles. Alley just made the connection a lot earlier than the rest of us.

    I get it. Oop is Alice and Red Rex is the white rabbit – or vice versa.

    I guess that is where the phrase, “Put the fear of Alley Oop” into the dinos.

    You can get more with a kind word and an ax, than just a kind word….

    @Sneakys Dad Bucher

    A steady diet of bearcat stew will do that to a guy.
