    Monday’s gonna be full of surprises, Oopsters.

    That’s some chintzy Sunday recap. 5 panels and the last two are from yesterday…Jeez! Whoever only gets the Sunday strip is getting the Cliff’s Notes version.

    @Rod Gonzalez

    I assume those pouncies deals are from the Dinos chasing the Wizer? Otherwise, they are a bit of a non sequitur….Not sure how surprised we will be, Carol telegraphs her punches a week or two in advance.

    I predict that tomorrow’s strip will be panel 2 from Friday, showing Oop bonking the Rex on top of the head, and today’s final panel, which was panel 2 from Saturday. Any bets?

    The only bet I’ll take is that Alley will be blamed for the Dino apocalypse! I just wonder if Wizer will actually confess to his crime. That aside, this story arc is/was enjoyable! Hope to see more work of this kind…

    Good Morning Benders and readers of Alley Oop.
    Guz and the Wizer are doing a slow stride to the aide of Alley. By the time they get there Alley will have incapacitated
    the T-Rex and Dinny will have rounded up the other Dinos.
    I was a bit surprised that the 2 frames from Saturday were included the the Sunday strip. It remains to be seen what
    will be used in the Monday strip. it is usual that Guz jumps
    to the wrong conclusion about Alley involvement even while
    Alley and Dinny are saving Moo’s hide but will the Wizer
    correct him?
    It’s Daylight Savings times It’s when the government steals
    a hour of your life. messes around with it till November then
    gives it back to you with the phrase good as new.
    Have a good one.

    This week set a new low for output from the creative team of Carole and Jack Bender. Only 8 panels for the week – 8! There was no dialogue on Tuesday, just 11 words on Wednesday. It was hard to recap a week where nothing happened yet they did. Good work, Benders!

    @Unca Scrooge

    creative is not a word i associate with the benders — many other words come to mind, but your point is well taken.

    I keep thinking that they can’t do any less and then they prove me wrong. Not only a repaet on Monday but then on Tuesday and finally nothing new at all today. That’s three days where they didn’t bother to do anything. I’ll say it can’t get worse but it just might.

    Recap? How about. . .

    Over at Mark Trail, Rusty is tied up in the back of a van because of some pictures he took at a fishing contest. The Nuthatch and the Salamander were better drawn than Rod Bassy.

    Luanne is hyperventilating because of her hatred for Tiffany Farrell. Quill is the boyfriend-du-jour. Aaron Hill is long gone. Brother Brad is maturing nicely, while everyone else in the strip seems to be standing still.

    Beetle Bailey hasn’t been beaten to a pulp by Sarge in over a week. And the GIs at Camp Swampy still haven’t received their kevlar helmets.

    And why would a hot chick like Blondie stay with a schlub like Dagwood?

    Cartoons are a different form of reality.

    It reminds me of Dick Locher’s final days with Dick Tracy. Remember how he kept repeating a picture of the warehouse being flooded and how long it took for Tracy to climb those stairs? History repeats itself.

    You know we’re moving slow when even firebrand1 is starting to notice it.

    Looks like Wiz is trying to get the wrath over with rather than cover up.

    Interesting all the invisible force lines are reading from left to right. Break resistance on right panel 1 and 2. Figure density constant at 4:5
    Have to click back to Oop whomping Rex on the head to find if its part of this composite or just and extra for the daily feeds.
