Alternate Alley Oop Chapter 17 “Deader Than Dead”(33) 3/5/2013 Tuesday
Panel One
The indicator light on the touch pad turns green and the ponderous door slides open. A hail of bullets follows with a sustained volley on full auto. Alley sees a cluster of grenades comes flying over toward them.
Panel Two
“Grenades!” Alley and several others shout as they run or roll out of the way for cover as the tight clustered soldiers are hit by the concussion and fragmentation grenades going off right on top of them!
Panel Three
Just a few minutes before Brucutu jumps off the little tram about 100 ft away knowing it is a trap. He gets the webbed belt of grenades, pull their pins and heaves them a 100 ft to fly just below the 16’ door top line.
Panel Four
The Alley vampire clone jumps into the clutch of agony of the soldiers smashing and throwing them every which way like rag dolls. Thorn and Shard slash with their killing claws and snap an twist with their tooth studded jaws. It was an awful sight in the red glare of the Red Alert lights.
So yesterday we recapped Sundays comic for those who don’t get a paper on Sunday, So I guess today is a recap of Saturdays’s comic for those who don’t get a paper on Saturday?
A new low for the Benders. They usually introduce a new panel on Tuesday. Today they simply reversed a panel from Friday. Friday! Then they changed the color of the dinosaurs, thinking we’re too stupid to notice. Maybe Wednesday we’ll get something new. Goodness!
Good morning Benders and Oopsters! What a fine gray, wet, snowy, sunnyy, cold, warm day, depending on where you live! The anticipated dino war is about to begin! Alley jumps right into the middle to stop the attack. What they are attacking isn’t clear but you can’t question crazed dinosaurs.
Good Morning Benders and all The usual commenters are creating a tempest in a teapot. While the Benders did indeed flip the charging dinos and recolored them from the March 2 strip, they also drew a additional quarter of Dinny for today. I guess it’s convenient to ignore such a change when you want to make a point. I enjoyed todays strip. Way to go Benders
Yes, they have pulled this shameless sleight of hand previously. They used a reversed panel to milk two days out of a melee between Moo and Lem. See Larry’s old blog spot: . http://alleyoopwatch.blogspot.com/

Actually, Wednesday’s strip will be a repeat of the previous Thursday’s strip for those who only get a paper on Tuesday.
