Alternate Alley Oop Chapter 17 “Deader Than Dead”(26) 2/26/2013 Tuesday
Panel One
Dr. Dark’s agents; Brukutu (vampire clone of Alley Oop) and a male and female cloned and vampirized velociraptors or V -raptors are inside Ft. Mitchum looking to find Alley Oop who is back in the underground section of Area 49, nearby and mostly hidden from sight.
Panel Two
Area 49, where Operation Greenlight under Dr. Wonmug is located (travel to other planets via controlled wormhole) and where Alley Oop is at this time. He has his trusty black hard wood scaly tree club, and straps on a bandoleer and has one of the new A-12 auto shotguns.
Panel Three
What they don’t know is that Dr. Dark’s Bug-Eyed-Surveillance (BES) devices are everywhere and have control over communications locally. Dr. Dark has many eyes in the world and more coming, he really enjoys this world he came into.
Who needs “dramatic tension” in a comic strip? This is NOT one of the crappy Hollywood so-called “action movies”… I presume strips to be more of a “feel good and chuckle” kinds of experience…. without street fights, guns and vicious weaponry, explosions and other kinds of really evil physically damaging scenarios. I can get THAT kind of junk on TV or on ‘films’.
But then you don’t read many comics do you? Depends on the “comic.” they aren’t all “feel good” every moment joke a day. Some do develop such drama as “Dick Tracy” does. Even “Bell Staar” & “Annie.” - I would suggest a re-evaluation. Your current parameters are sadly limited and ill informed.
Good Morning Benders and readers of Alley Oop. Dinnys safe so the storyline is preparing to shift to Alley and the Wizer. I’m not surprised that Alley doesn’t recognize the Wizers’ voice. He ,no doubt, is screaming shrilly as loud as he can.
Alley Oop is the classic caveman comic strip revolving around the irrepressible Alley Oop, who travels from prehistoric Moo all the way to the 21st century in his friend Doc Wonmug's time machine.
