Alternate Alley Oop Chapter 17 “Deader Than Dead”(15) 2/15/2013 Friday
Panel One
“What are you?” Bolan asks just a little scared under that bravado. He’s sweating even though the AC is set to 60 degrees Fahrenheit. “You can call me Brucutu* and my allies Thorn and Shard.” Each one of the two legged horrors bobbed their heads like they understood his speech.
Panel Two
“Time for us to go,” Brucutu tells him just as the thin wail of the police sirens could be heard. “No you don’t!” Bolan started firing but with each shot he missed them. Like they blurred and was out of the way before the hollow points could strike them.
Panel Three
Using his riot shield he fired through the slit in it while protecting himself. He finally hits Brucutu in the abdomen! But he doesn’t slow down! - *Brucutu is what the Brazilians call Alley Oop.
Dinny has had a whiff of the potion, but was not around when Wiz gave his instructions for the rest of the dinosaurs to follow Wiz’s orders when Wiz snaps his fingers – and to stop doing whatever whenever Wiz says Alley Oop. And Alley could very easily be headed AWAY from Moo in order to help Dinny shake off the spring fever or whatever it is that Alley believes is Dinny’s problem. So Wiz may end up starting a stampede of dinosaurs when Alley is too far away to help rescue everyone. Nevertheless, I guess there is a good possibility that, when Wiz yells Alley Oop and all of the dinosaurs stop stampeding, the folks of Moo will end up believing that it is ALLEY who rescued them – and not Wiz! It would have been nice if, in honor of Valentine’s Day, there had been a little romance involved somewhere. It would also be interesting if T-Rex had decided that he actually was Wiz’s lap dog – or if Wiz’s potion had turned all of the dinosaurs into lovers instead of fighters. Hopefully, we will see some romance soon.
City, Land, Kingdom, Its all relative. As to the headdress, I keep looking for the Lone Ranger. Yea, I know, Wizer came first, but I still say Johnny Depps portrayal of Tonto is a rip-off.
Good morning Benders and all. I hope everybody had a great v-day. First, it was about not being invited to a party. Yesterday it was about an unexplained quest. Today it’s about being important. The Benders are not exactly consistent. I do like the drug thing as Carol relives her youger hippy days.
Good Morning to the Benders and the readers of Alley Oop. Benders are giving us a beautiful view of the Moovian valley today. As I mentioned before Wizer is really overdosing on the potion. His mind numbed posse of dinos may just collapse in their drugged state. It is interesting Wizer’s use of the phrase join forces, as it is the dinos and him. It is for certain that the dinos will go first and the Wizer will take up the rear.
Alley Oop is the classic caveman comic strip revolving around the irrepressible Alley Oop, who travels from prehistoric Moo all the way to the 21st century in his friend Doc Wonmug's time machine.

I agree about the artwork in panel one. Just every once in a while Jack produces something that he can show his boss to justify his paycheck.
