Quite an understatement, Alley. You might not wanna be around when Wizer controls Dinny.

To all Alleygators and Oopster out there, warm HUGPOUNCIES to you!

Alternate Alley Oop Chapter 17 “Deader Than Dead”(12) 2/12/2013 Tuesday

    Panel One

Alley, back in his time, goes to see what the big deal is about Wizer. He is such an angry old troll most of the time it is hard to believe that so many villagers are seeing him for a good reason. King Guz said even from other villages like Lem and even Atl!

    Panel Two

Alley sees the crowd, surrounding the entrance to “The Great Wizer’s” abode. A good natured crowd, some of them look injured. This is more and more puzzling.

    Panel Three

He pushes his way to the front and sees a spectacle almost too strange to believe. Wizer has a golden glow around him and his arms are raised. A tiny child is suspended in the air and also has that glow.

    Panel Four

The golden aura is getting so bright he can’t see Wizer or the child. Then in fades away and the child lowers gently to the mother’s arms.

    Wizer’s potion is quite strong.

I expect Dinny will shake off the drug and stop the other dinos from stampeding.

I hope you are correct. We will have to waitt on the Benders to see what they have to offer.

Dinny’s about to take a nap, it seems!

Or, maybe Dinny’s been reading the comics and is bored with the pace…

I guess your attitude is a sign of this era. 30 minute resolution of a problem from TV programs. Instant results from computer programs and search engines may have removed the satisfaction of waiting for a story to unfold and reveal itself in a timely manner.
Expecting for a story to wind up quickly from a 3 to 4 panel a day comic strip is like planting the seed today and expecting a ripe tomato tomorrow.

Since Dinny is already tame, maybe the drug will have the opposite effect on him and he’ll run amok.

Good morning Benders and all. I hate to say it, but I agree with Dinny “yawn”. This story could have have been much stronger than it is turing out to be.

Good Morning to the Benders and the readers of Alley Oop
So the Wizer’s potion is putting Dinny to sleep. This is probably because his brain is closer to the humans than
to the other dinos. It would be interesting to see if Guz is
    affected by the potion.

    First:

Is there such a place as “Atl” in the strip, or is that only in your storyline?

    Second:

You really need to have someone proofread your posts. “Then IN fades away…”? I know that most typos occur because the person isn’t looknig at the board when typing and ends up typing the key NEXT to the intended letter. But that isn’t the case here, as an entire row of letters separate the T from the N. Plus, there are times when your sentence structure needs to be worked on.

I’m not trying to be mean, or a troublemaker, I just think that you can and should do better.
