Alternate Alley Oop Chapter 17 “Deader Than Dead”(2) 2/2/2013

Dr. Dark (we don’t know his real name or what his face looks like or his age or nationality) was also working on many other things from improving his repulsar field cannon to contacting an making partners of others like himself and countries favorable to the Vampire Nation Belo-Rada.
Panel Two
The interruption by the lower functionary Assistant Deputy Archon Vermitagrise came into his primary lab which is common place for him, and an annoyance. Part of his deal with these inhuman creatures. At least Vermitagrise is more human looking——-he still has his normal nose.
“Excuse me Lord,” Vermitagrise started bowing to him,“the Archon govt hasn’t met with you for the weekly conclave. There is a complication in security needing your wisdom.” “Yes, I know, I’m busy here as you can see.” He spread his hand out and took in the sub-rooms and the surrounding series of labs and manufacturing complex around them into the hazy distance.
Panel Three
“AS you can see I am very involved right now. More busy than you, I’d say.” Dr. Dark replied stressing “more” and “you” to the vampire. Vermitagrise barely changed his smooth faced expression, his glossy black eyes with no scleral or pupils to be seen, difficult even for Dr. Dark to read.
Panel Four
“When I am finished here I shall meet with your masters,” he replied tipping his dark hat at the subservient blood sucker.
“Don’t take too long or they will send along one of our larger thralls to retrieve you.” Vermitagrise said. Was he amused by that? Bowing again, Vermitagrise leaves. (The various vampire families and clans have been breeding and hybridizing thralls, humans as slaves, for centuries. Some of them became the basis for the stories of goblins and trolls even giants like those two 7 foot tall tusk-fanged guards in red armor he saw in the Royal court.)
I know the Mokele-Mbembe are not malevolent, but they certainly do not truck with tresspassers, either. Sort of, benevolent dictators over their planet, not permitting the humans of Earth 2 to develop weapons of mass destruction. I know you’re getting back to Dr Dark and his evil plans, but I’ll miss Lola and Earth 2.
Good Morning Benders and all. The Wizer must of attached a fan to the T-Rex’s tail, to diffuse the potions smoke all over the field. Foozie is finally figuring out that something is amiss.
Good morning Benders and all! The Wizer was so smart to make the smoke from his potion flow only to the minature dinosaurs. Carole is so incredibly clever,
First the smoke went straight up so Oop could see it and then it blew to the dinos so that they could be hypnotized. And without having their effectiveness diluted when mixed with air. Geeze, Carole is an awful writer.
Just think. Tomorrow we get to read the rerun of this mess. And to have Rod Gonzalez explain yet again that this is for readers that don’t get a daily paper. Wheee!

Wizer may have improved his formula. Making it an attractant for dinosaurs so that he doesn’t have to hunt for them. A nice idea.
