Alternate Alley Oop Chapter 16 “Earth 2 Crisis”(57) 1/26/2013
Panel One
Most everyone found themselves back at the base! But some were missing—-Alley, Lola and Lavainge.
Panel Two
They look and see that the worm hole portal is blocked by some whitish to semitransparent substance that looks alive!
Panel Three
Alley and Lavainge find themselves in the presence of a group of Mokele Mbembe sitting in large stone chairs looking at them from small frilled heads on top of long graceful necks. Their yellow eyes seemed peaceful and interested. Not angry.

Wonder what Wiz will do if he discovers that the T-Rex didn’t go after the bunny because Wiz told him to do it – but because that is what the T-Rex wanted to do next. AND that the T-Rex does not plan to let go of the bunny until the T-Rex is good and ready to let go of the bunny!

Dear Carole,
We appreciate the fact that you have worked for so many years keeping one of our favorite comic strips alive. We also appreciate the fact that you knew Dave Graue personally and worked with him and your husband for several years before Mr. Graue’s retirement and subsequent untimely death. You have earned your place in comic history. Many of us were surprised that you did not retire at the end of 2012. Now we cannot help but asking why you cannot let go. Many of us feel like, for the good of the strip, and out of respect to the memory of V.T. Hamlin and Dave Graue, that someone else could take over the writing of Alley Oop while you and your husband enjoy a nice relaxing retirement.
Sincerely yours,
David

Good morning Benders and all. It looks like Rexy’s teeth aren’t quite sharp enough to bite off the bunny tail. I guess this will just bug all of the haters out there who can’t appreciate a good rabbit tale. Comics are supposed to be silly so this is one of the best because how could you get any sillier?

Good Morning Benders and readers of Alley Oop, I am
impressed that the T-Rex could catch the rabbit and by
the tail no less. As I said yesterday, the noise of the
chase precludes the T-Rex from hearing any commands.
This has been a great storyline so far. Congrats to the Benders. We really appreciate your hard work.

David42: I don’t remember a vote on this list that appointed you as my representative for giving advice to the Benders… and as far as I can notice, the use of the word “many” does not reflect the true feelings of those who choose to comment… you are in the minority, NOT the majority… rein in that ego a bit.

nottawasaga : Right on in regard to david42. And to david42 I would say that I fully support nottawasaga. Did you send the letter directly to Carole? I doubt it. When are you going to get it into your head that there are those of us out here who just simply enjoy the comics. Of course there are some like you and nightgaunt who think that your writing is somehow superior. How about if you had to put some of those stories into a daily strip along with the art work, do you think you can do better? I doubt it, because if you could, you would have your own syndicated strip and would not be on here bothering us.
