I like that this arc seems to be staying in “caveman” days.

Too slow. Two panels today that only repeat what’s been said the last two days.

Or, maybe it won’t work as planned and Alley will have to come to the rescue of not only Moo, but Wizer as well.

speaking of mind control…. Wizer needs to better control his own mind. screwed up as he is the dinos will really be psychos after that mind meld. wonder if he uses the same hand movement as Spock.

Looks more like a liquid than a powder. Still, this is just another bad story line by Carole.

Dang! I wish I had some of that brew when I was married, if it will subdue the most savage beast.

Wizer has been cooking that brew for nearly a week now. I hope it’s about done.

Good morning Benders and all. If the Wizer would add some powered frog tails and sabertooth tails he would have a more universal mind control potion. Time for the
potion making is now past. Time for field testing has begun.

I think you may take some of my comments a bit too literally. You certainly don’t have to remind me how Carole takes a short time in the story and stretches it out for way too long.

Sometimes two weeks will go by and barely an hour or so has passed in the actual story. She’s so inconsistent though. Sometimes it will be a day for a day.

My point here is – Wizer’s making a brew to control the dinos. We get it. You don’t have to show him mixing it for an entire week.

Must be potent stuff for that small a dose to whack a big T-rex. Maybe dose is for the controller not the controlee.

(Watch, ya nay sayers you are missing what is going on. That background crow is a mirror of interior Wiz . Most action dailies have to waste the 1st panel on yesterday’s recap, and the last panel on buying interest for next day, and the drawings on eye candy. That leaves only the center panel for the interaction.)

NG you have too many panels for clean drawing. Each panel has to have ONE clear communication to the reader. #There are too many words in the quote marks. It’ll eat up space needed for the drawing. #2 needs a tight on the dino’s faces to convey worry and relief. Connection to the screen causing the emotions will require very careful background, or body language of riders legs in frame. That leaves no panel space for motion lines choppy to motion lines smooth. #3 has the retask action being overwhelmed by the background info. #4 has too many actions besides drop you weapons and no transition from dinos relief or 1+2.

If you look at the work in Elfquest your #2 panel would eat up an entire graphic novel page to do that one transition from worry to relief under a riders control. Panel 4 might take 2 pages of a good manga just on the SEB mudule.
