Miles away the Mokole (they have their own name for themselves) are examining these strange creatures. For the first time ever they have detected energy waves of a more advanced society. They have traveled their world and have not found anyone more advanced than the Bronze age in technology. They communicate to each other mostly on selected Electro-Magnetic wave lengths.

Probing of the minds of those found so far is puzzling too. So many complex thoughts. Desires and images of things and ideas they have found no where else on their planet (Earth 2.)

The Elders wish conclave to consider the import of this discovery. Since they don’t need to meet they all communicate from where ever they are at present via EM radiation. They do go to the nearest Cone of Silence where they direct their EM thoughts through antenna that narrows the beam so that only they can hear each other.

Back at the mobile group, inside the G.O. Land Master they see on one of the sensor scopes a slightly different frequency narrow and more powerful. “Looks like it might be a pow-ow,” Said Oscar over the comm.

“You might be right,” Concluded Lavainge as the compressed sine wave showed intense intercommunication of the Mokole.
I find the replies entertaining or I would probably not even look at the strip. I found where to DL from the beginning to around 2001 and realized how the strip had improved for a long time – then now it is just some folks doing work for $$
Interesting how the Benders just repeat up till last Tuesday, and ignore Wednesday through Saturday. Do we have to wait till next Saturday to get a new panel?
@Craig66 – Was the site ilovecomicsarchives,com? I go there often and have downloaded their entire Alley Oop collection from 1934 on. I certainly agree with you. Reading the masterful work of VT Hamlin, followed by Dave Graue, the Benders’ talents don’t even come in a close third.
Good Morning Benders and all It was fun to see Santa today one more time before the new year. Last year was great, looking forward to the next year of Alley Oop.
Alley Oop is the classic caveman comic strip revolving around the irrepressible Alley Oop, who travels from prehistoric Moo all the way to the 21st century in his friend Doc Wonmug's time machine.

Nice recap.
Who knows? 2013 should be full of surprises. Despite what certain detractors say, this strip has been rather entertaining.
