On that everyone agreed and they turned in for the night. The two dinosaurs kept watch and stayed close for protection from any night hunters. (They are light sleepers as are Lola and Alley.)
It’s a good thing he isn’t driving… . Driving to work, a gentlman had to swerve to avoid a box that fell out of a truck in front of him. Seconds later, a policeman pulled him over for reckless driving. Fortunately, another officer had seen the carton in the road. The policmen stopped traffic and recovered the box. It was found to contain large upholstery tacks. “I’m sorry sir,” the first trooper told the driver, “but I am still going to have to write you a ticket.” Amazed, the driver asked for what. The trooper replied, “Tacks evasion.”
Just throw a stick or a rock and see if it gets zapped. @Gweedo: maybe not step on a tack, but on a “present” Dinny left for him while he was watching the portal.
Good Morning Benders and all. I imagine a couple days has past since Alley is now healed from his bruises from the explosion. Alley should be careful tromping around where the explosion was, he could step in a broken whatzis and get cut. Also since the hole is closed they can’t sent a Thank you for all the balls that arrived.
Well stepping in a “present” from Dinny sounds more realistic than a tack. But Then maybe Oop is simply walking softly and carrying (or not carrying) a big axe.
Actually, Alley’s body is in the tree’s shadow with his left leg stepping in to the light on the other side of the tree. If artist was trying to be photographic in his style, Alley would still be in color but darker than the rest of the panel. However, that would run contrary to the history of the art style of the strip.
Alley Oop is the classic caveman comic strip revolving around the irrepressible Alley Oop, who travels from prehistoric Moo all the way to the 21st century in his friend Doc Wonmug's time machine.
