Whatever it was it happened very fast. Meals partially eaten though now small rat-like animals and insects were in them, they stayed away from the base coffee in their nice mugs, Air Force, Marine or corporate colors and insignia. They find no one anywhere injured, dead or in hiding. Not a soul in the whole base.

After securing the base they follow the energy beacon leading off miles away and yet not too far away. It leads down and away. “Robin one to nest, Robin one to nest.” Said the team leader.
“Robin’s nest over, what is your twenty?” Came the question.

“TexComm base secured, no one there alive or dead, moving on to follow an energy signal, over.”
Panel Four
“Roger that, check in time Zulu 6:30.” (Their time on Earth 2, Omega 13:30) And that was it for now. Grey Omega isn’t your usual special forces unit. They get to use all kinds of equipment no one else in JSOC would even consider.
Well, this is an unexpected turn! I’m agree with the rat-like creatures and insects, coffee is nasty! But where did everybody go? To a flash party on the other side of Earth 2?
Per the Bender’s story, gee, sometimes we get a new set of panels on Monday and sometimes it’s the last ones from Sunday. Are they farming out the work on the Mondays we’ve gotten new panels?
Also, Dr Wonmug seems to have a little more power than Ava was letting on to Alley Oop and Ooola, if he can just up and walk out of the What? interview? Interragation? the respectful sharing of information?
Good Winter morning to the Benders and all. Slow day with yesterdays final 2 panels increased in size. I noticed in yesterdays strip that Doc shifted the note from his left hand to his right, then to his left, then back to his right. I wondering if Doc need specs. It looked like he squinting in panel 3.
i always thought doc was smart and wise and would never fall for this Mayan end of the world silliness. besides,hasn’t he seen the future beyond 2012? another example of carole’s mis-characterization of her characters.
Alley Oop is the classic caveman comic strip revolving around the irrepressible Alley Oop, who travels from prehistoric Moo all the way to the 21st century in his friend Doc Wonmug's time machine.
