Well . . .
Let’s hope Doc can fix this chronological mess.

So the agent breaks right in on the interrogation, so he can give an “urgent note” from a “Ms. Ava Johns”? Someone he apparently has no idea who is? And hands it directly to Wonmug? Seems logical…LOL

Well now that Doc Wonmug sees the problem how will he get out of that to get to work? And what about Alley Oops part in this? Will they demand him to speak?
Emile Schwarz said, 5 months ago
I was afraid yesterday that the FBI agent will retains the note as evidence against Dr. Wonmug !
I feel more secure now !
davidf42 said, 5 months ago
Oh, right. The agent just shows the note to Wonmug without letting the interrogator see it first. And the interrogator lets him, without demanding to see it. Right. Sure. Uh-huh.

Yes, this does seem like a pretty mellow top-secret government outfit. The guy interrupting with the note looks kind of like Hank Hill. Perhaps dealing in time travel, and time travel accessories.

Let’s all sing some songs:
“Don’t say no, it’s the end of the world…” – Skeeter Davis
“It’s the end of the world as we know it…” – R.E.M.
But I know the world is not going to end even in 2 weeks thanks to Mayans, or even worse happen something that could cause a tragic imaginary descruction only to have Earth reborn 2,000 years later in a strange new world of savage, super science, and sorcery from the old world – that is if you remember the early 1980’s Saturday morning cartoon “Thundarr the Barbarian”.

@Wootietoot
It’s a freaking comic.

Why does the Interrogator need a microphone? Doc is sitting right across the table from him.

@Wootietoot
Only one interrogator in the room…No witnesses? Is there a 2-way mirror somewhere where others are watching?

It’s a freaking comic.

Well, it is laughable if this is supposed to be an FBI investigation.
My son is a Homeland Security Agent who works in conjunction with the FBI. He even laughed at this.
Ray Toler said, 5 months ago
Doesn’t Doc have a lawyer while he is being questioned by the FBI?
stevechapel said, 5 months ago
The agent handing the note to alley looks a bit like Dick Tracy… Hmmm

I finally got it! The purpose of this comic is to be absurd, that is how it is supposed to be funny. That is how it is supposed to be suspenseful. Does that not describe the whole last year or so of the strip?

imo the benders were trying to be funny with the oop episode at the security gate (what’s happening to him now anyway?) but they are trying to be more serious with the doc-ava note stupidity. it comes out lame and clumsy on all counts. carole has no understanding about the way the world works and she can’t write a coherent story in any case.
sure it’s a silly comic but does it have to insult our intelligence every day?
